The work
- • Lead the full housekeeping operation across guest rooms, corridors and public spaces
- • Manage, motivate and develop a team of room attendants, housemen and laundry colleagues
- • Uphold meticulous standards of cleanliness, presentation and room readiness
- • Build departmental rotas, forecasts and productivity targets in line with occupancy
- • Address and resolve housekeeping-related guest feedback promptly and professionally
- • Own stock control, linen pars, amenities and supplier relationships
- • Partner closely with Front Office and Maintenance on room releases and repairs
- • Coach team members through on-shift training and quality audits
- • Ensure full compliance with health, safety and COSHH standards
- • Contribute to departmental budget and payroll control
