About the hotel
Fouquet's New York is a boutique five-star hotel on Greenwich Street in Tribeca — the New York expression of the iconic French hospitality brand that has defined Parisian grand café culture since 1899. The property brings the elegance and discernment of the Champs-Élysées original to one of Manhattan's most creative and dynamic neighbourhoods, offering sophisticated accommodation and personalised service to a discerning international clientele.
The work
- • Be the welcoming face and operational backbone of the front office, overseeing guest registration, check-in, check-out and cashiering to five-star standard
- • Manage front office financial operations including billing accuracy, payment processing and daily reconciliation
- • Resolve guest concerns swiftly and thoughtfully, acting as an effective bridge between guests and wider hotel departments
- • Supervise and coordinate front desk team members across morning, evening and overnight shifts
- • Drive room revenue through upselling opportunities and use OPERA PMS to manage inventory and guest profiles with precision
This role is for you if…
- • You have at least three years of progressive hotel front office experience and have stepped into a supervisory role
- • OPERA PMS or a comparable property management system is second nature to you
- • You're genuinely energised by face-to-face guest interaction and don't flag under the demands of a luxury hotel front desk
- • You bring composure and good judgement when resolving complaints or managing unusual requests from discerning international guests
This role might not be for you if…
- • You haven't yet worked in a hotel environment or are still building your foundational front office knowledge
- • Variable shifts — including evenings, overnights and holidays — would be disruptive to your lifestyle
- • You're not yet comfortable with the financial accountability and cashiering precision that front office management requires
