The work

  • Lead and manage the daily front-of-house operations of EightyEight, Grantley Hall's sophisticated cocktail bar and lounge
  • Coach and mentor waiting staff to consistently deliver exceptional levels of service
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing team scheduling, performance and staff development
  • Handle guest feedback with poise and professionalism, turning every interaction into a positive experience
  • Manage stock levels, ordering and supplier relationships to support smooth daily operations
  • Drive departmental revenue through upselling, menu knowledge and refined service techniques
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the restaurant
  • Maintain and uphold Grantley Hall's brand standards at every guest touchpoint
  • Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new front-of-house team members
