The work

  • Run a designated section within the Private Dining kitchen with precision, consistency, and pride in every dish
  • Manage kitchen orders and deliveries for your section to ensure seamless and uninterrupted service
  • Support the Head Chef with culinary innovation and the evolution of the seasonal menu
  • Ensure dishes are executed to Gleneagles' exacting standards for quality, taste, and presentation
  • Mentor and support the development of junior members of the kitchen brigade
  • Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in line with company policy at all times
  • Demonstrate excellent time management and adaptability throughout high-volume service periods
  • Collaborate with the wider culinary team to deliver truly exceptional guest experiences
