The work
- • Lead the front-of-house team in delivering flawless dining experiences across The Dining Room, ensuring Michelin-star service standards at every cover
- • Manage, coach and inspire a passionate team of restaurant professionals, driving a culture of excellence and pride
- • Oversee daily reservations, floor operations and guest journey from arrival to departure
- • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless harmony between kitchen and front of house
- • Handle all guest feedback with professionalism, discretion and a genuine commitment to resolution
- • Control staffing schedules, labour costs and departmental budgets in line with targets
- • Champion sommelier and food knowledge across the team, facilitating regular training and tastings
- • Maintain the highest standards of presentation, mise en place and service protocol throughout the restaurant
- • Represent Whatley Manor's values of warmth, refinement and sustainable luxury in every guest interaction

- • You have experience managing a restaurant at Michelin or 3 AA Rosette level within a 5-star hotel
- • You are a natural and inspirational people leader who raises standards through passion and presence
- • You possess exceptional product knowledge across wine, fine dining and luxury service etiquette
- • You are calm under pressure and maintain elegance and warmth even during the busiest service
- • You are deeply motivated by the pursuit of perfection in hospitality
